What an exciting new chapter in Johnny's life this show was. Of course it will end up being more of a sidestory than a new chapter full of possibilities but one can pretend. It's crazy how huge revelations are made and then dropped to go on to the next story in so many episodes of this program. Well, regardless, if treated as a show in itself the resolution will frustrate you as you will wish for the story to have new chapters continuing from it afterwords. If you lie to yourself as you're watching it, though, and tell yourself that this is a new beginning of new stories unfolding then you will easily be able to enjoy a wonderfully put together 42-60 minutes. After getting my wish for a Stillson main-arch episode and then realizing I can't understand a word of it, I was happy to see that we keep things simple yet fun and full of twists and turns. If I were Johnny, though, I would not be pleased with what I discovered in the end. I don't understand the need that TDZ writers have for closure in almost every episode but they force it upon us each time and I keep venting about it. Regardless, my enjoyment of this show matched the good mid-season episodes of season one or two, which means it was well done.

Just want to give a quick shout out to the production department. After watching the DVD extra, they really do work their tails off to give us some spectacular picture. This episode demonstrated that, as well, with effects regarding a large building, a mental home, fire and other fun. And props to props. Just wanted to say that.

And what an idiot I am. I just predicted after watching the last episode that one day Johnny will have to go see a shrink and lo and behold… Of course, I was expecting him to see one for his trauma of everyone around him always dying, and unfortunately that doesn't bother him (Alex Conners who?), but maybe I have some psychicness of my own. As I have no clue what awaits us in the final two episodes, I will reject that idea, but it looks like they will be good ones. I can just feel it… No, I'm not psychic, I actually feel the DVD in my hands and am about to play it. Geez…
