I expected a little more

Directed by RG Springsteen, the grade B movie director, especially westerns and thrillers, I must admit that I waited for something different, about the story, I mean, not the directing. It is a mixup of drama, romance and a bit noir.

It takes place in an Mediterranean island, with a plot line very talkative, with no real suspense, and where only Eduardo Cianelli can satisfy the movie buffs like me. Joanne Dru also is worth; a beauty like her. The atmosphere of this little episode is quite good too. But it remains rather tepid, compared to the other David Niven shows I saw since a couple of days.
