Sweet smell of defeat

Not so bad, this drama tale. We don't assist here at the rise of a sport star, but only at his fall, his problems with all his close friends, police, reporters and family. A kind of bitter story, with a pretty good atmosphere. It looks like a classic movie, but in the short way. You won't find here any thrilling sequences, as you may expect in an Alfred Hitchcock Presents like episode. A pure drama for TV releasing. I don't know the actors. I won't remind this episode very long. Only the ending may be interesting. The jealousy of a neglected wife that explains many unusual behaviors.

The director seems to have worked only for TV industry, and I guess I will see his name again in may TV shows.
