A gambler story

That's the first episode of this TV series I watch. Directed by the great Lewis Allen, who gave us features as THE UNSEEN, DESERT FURY, CHICAGO DEADLNE, APPOINTMENT WITH MURDER and other film noirs. Here, he tells us the short story of a compulsive gambler - Cameron Mitchell - who promises his wife - who wants to quit him because of his "illness"

  • to really stop gambling. But one night, he decides to try a last time
to, at last, find his life luck at the game...And the result will not be as the audience may expect. A beautiful ending, I can assure. An interesting drama, although not exceptional. I will try to comment more episodes of this TV show.
