Ma and Pop Larkin have won a Trip to Paris, that they want to have as a 2nd Honeymoon.
It is organised by Romance Weekley and the Larkins are part of a group
of romantic souls.
Sadly quite literally rain stops play, as it stops their plane from taking off in France.
So the unfortunate Tour Host Cynthia McCracken, has to make other arrangements. Some of which is certainly not to the taste, of the snooty and pompous Mr. Peter Lime.
But its literally Pop Larkin to the rescue, as he feels that he has to lend a helping hand.
They stay the night in a 4 Star Hotel which even so doesn't satisfy, the unxious Mr. Lime.
Sidney Larkin quite literally takes the party to the dogs with mixed feelings, but they managed to leave on a high with a winning flutter.
They are forced to locate a 2nd hotel and Pop finds them Hotel Brest a rambling pile, that seems to have seen better days rather like the staff.
They managed to make the best of a bad start, with Ma and Polly cooking all the food. As ever Mr. Lime proved to be the fly in the ointment, of those determined to make the most of things. However the ever astute Pop Larkin manages to work his particular magic, to work wonders to keep everyone happy.
Ar home on Home Farm the heavens have also opened and Marriette and Charlie, have their hands full with keeping things afloat.
