Quotes

Primrose: [confidentially] I need to talk to you about going home.
Pop Larkin: Oh? Yeah? What about it?
Primrose: Pop, do I have to go home? Must I go home? My boyfriend, Marc-Antoine, has talked to his parents, and I can stay with them in Paris.

David Jason is, of course, perfick, absolutely perfick. While Catherine Zeta Jones drew considerable attention, a jolly bit of understatement there, innit? But the scene stealer in both Part 1 and Part 2, but especially escalating with that close- up scene, is young Julie Davis, as budding beauty Primrose. She is utterly mesmerizing. Sadly, this is going to be all to be seen of her, she is written out of the story, off to Paris. How could they?

Charming foray into France. Likeably done. I repeat, I don't normally watch "Sunday fare" like this, this series is an exception though.
