Did You Know?

Several costumes from the film Dangerous Liaisons (1988) were used in the scenes set in 1790, notably two dresses originally worn by Glenn Close and Uma Thurman.See more »
Anachronisms: Halfway into the episode, Barnabas is seeking to hide from the sunlight in the basement of the Collins house. Interestingly enough, he lays down next to a bag that says "70 KILOS". It's unlikely that the word would appear on a bag of grain (or whatever) at the time (1795). Collinsport is in Maine, and the unit of measure was not in use in either the colonies or Great Britain. In fact, the word "gram" was invented in April 1795 to replace the word "grave" which had gained a rather negative connotation as a result of the French revolution. In fact, the words gram and kilogram weren't truly adopted until December 1799 by the French, and simply would not have appeared on shipments in 1795.See more »
Victoria Winters:My name is Victoria Winters. A terrifying curse has cast its shadow over Collinwood. While an innocent girl huddles in a prison cell awaiting judgement, death roams free, stalking the night and a tormented family struggles to comprehend its fate. But that fate is already written and the evil that controls it is relentless.See more »
