Okay. I, like many folks, have heard the rumors that Mr. Kaye was LGBT. I know a lot of his humor is based in Camp.
But I also know that whoever cast and directed this first episode of this series was deeply and abidingly in love with the male dancer who had an extended solo at the top of the show.
The choreography isn't amazing enough to warrant such attention. Lord knows he's basically naked (especially for the time frame in America) and beyond lovely - in a way that spoke more to his sexuality than might be obvious to the everyday observer.
So, between his presentation, and the length of the solo - somebody is showing off his love. To America.
I couldn't be happier. Weather it's Danny, or someone else - bravisimo!
