  Pte. Charles Godfrey : I'd rather stay, if you don't mind. I know we can't do anything, but I think we must be a comfort for them and let them know that we're here. After all, Mr Mainwaring wouldn't leave us, would he?

  Pte. Frank Pike : And I can't leave my Uncle Arthur. My mum wouldn't like it.
