Not the size of the boat....
7 November 2009 | by (New York) – See all my reviews

Richard Lewis receives Larry's visit. The kidney transplant is still not finalized. Richard, who feels grateful that Larry is a possible candidate as a donor, tells Larry he will leave his prized baseball hit by Mickey Mantle's in his 500th home run in his will. As Larry goes out, Richard's nurse Mo, reveals she dated Jeff for a short time. The thing she didn't appreciate was the size of the manager's penis size, which she describes as tiny.

When Larry and Jeff meet again, he reports about what he heard from the nurse. Jeff suggests the problem he had with Mo was a different one because she had a tremendously big vagina. Larry considers the explanation which sounds credible.

Larry spots comedian George Lopez after his visit to Richard. The actor, who has gone himself through a kidney transplant, gives Larry the name of the man that is in charge of the list of patients waiting to receive the organ. As it turns out, Larry makes it a point to locate this doctor, who happens to be an Orthodox Jew. Larry breaks a tail light of the man's Cadillac and leaves a note about assuming the responsibility of paying for the repair.

Jeff and Susie have planned a ski trip. The Davids are invited to come, but Larry, a city person, hates the idea. When he meets Ben Heineman, the man that can help with Lewis' transplant, Larry comes to the Jewish Deli dressed for the part, skull cap and all. He makes quite impression with Dr. Heineman, an avid skier, as he finds out. Larry decides to ask his friends to include Ben and his daughter Rachel to come along.

Larry, who has engaged Susie in the plot to impersonate his Orthodox wife, goes all out to wow the guest. He even is seen skiing as Ben and Rachel arrive at the slopes. Ben suggest Rachel and Larry go for a final run. Rachel, who has found a violation to her strict kosher style, is reluctant to go, but relents and goes. Little prepare them for when the ski lift stops. The problem is that as they are stuck without any indication of being rescued, nightfall is coming and Rachel, a single woman, cannot be with a man after dark.

This chapter has a feeling like one of the "I Love Lucy" episodes in which she will do anything to solve a problem, creating a bigger problem in doing so. Mr. David is also telling us something about those well intentioned people that would like to solve a situation by involving others to straighten it for them.

Larry Charles is the director of this funny show. Mo Collins has a fun time as Mo, the nurse. Iris Bahr and Stuart Pankin are seen as the Heinemans and George Lopez appear as himself. Larry David, Cheryl Hines, Susie Essman and Jeff Garlin, the regulars, are perfect, as usual.
