This episode would only be bad in comparison to the other seven. This episode is not bad, but just a little distracting with a police officer who framed Slade's father, a former police officer, now opting to frame Slade himself.
At best the crooked cop, who didn't want to work with Slade, must have just planned on randomly framing a cop, then decided Slade would be the best candidate.
In truth, it would be too far-fetched; an officer who worked with the crooked father now works with the crooked son? Much fun in watching things take place, clearly deducing Slade and Holly were setting them up for the future-past escape attempt.
We also learn Slade's father was in jail for the frame up. I guess his name was cleared after serving five years.
