Trivia

The episode very overtly references the Canadian TV show 'The Littlest Hobo' which was about a German Shepherd who traveled across Canada helping those in need, before departing once again to continue his travels, in the manner of a hobo. The show aired from 1963-65, and then again from 1979-1985. Wanda rightly points out, to Hank's disappointment, that the Dogs which portrayed Hobo would long since have passed away. Nevertheless the dog in the episode displays qualities of the Littlest Hobo, barking and calling attention to littering, stealing, and a fire. As well the end of the episode features a snippet of the shows theme song "Maybe Tomorrow" by Terry Bush. See more »
