Otli has a terrible nightmare about a hairy monster trying to eat him. He blames Bayu because he told the story of a monster before he went to sleep. But in the next morning, they find a drawing of that monster, and some people living in the area believe it really exists. The evil Barr (Scott Eberlein) and his companions mean to feed the monster, abduct a child, and also Otli is in danger of being sacrificed, while Conan, Bayu and Zzeben are sent down a wrong trail. After they were mistaken for the abductors, they realize Barr had laid a trap for them
is it already too late to save Otli and the child? Because the
situation becomes desperate, Conan asks a blind old man for help...
When Hissah Zul is informed by the skull what Conan is doing, he wonders what will happen if Conan meets the monster. It will be a titanic contest, master", the talking skull promises. I do not want a titanic contest", Hissah Zul replies coolly. I want a slow murder, torture, something to relish, something to remember." One of the best episodes, good story, well paced, a thrilling hunt, and the plan to defeat Conan is more cunning than usual. It's more about the human characters, especially Otli, Barr and the blind man (Jack Donner), than the monster.
