Tony calls in for wants and warrants after being run off the road. He provides a generic description of a car, a direction of travel, and a partial license plate number. Wants and warrants can only be checked when a complete license plate is available. What he should have called in was a BOLO- or Be On the Look Out, which alerts other police officers to look for the suspect vehicle. See more
