When captured by the British, Sgt Saunders tells the British lieutenant he is in the 361st Infantry. The 361st was in the 91st Infantry Division which served in Italy, not France.
Near the end, Capt. Dungan's JAG insignia on his collar, are being worn upside down.
After the MP tells the kids outside to go away, the head of the court martial tells Kirby's lawyer to "proceed, Captain." His lips say "Captain" but that word is not heard.
In his testimony at his Court Martial, Kirby describes an intense engagement in which his unit is mauled by artillery and machine gun fire and suffers major casualties including Lt Hanley, the platoon commander. This makes no sense since Sgt Saunders and Caje who are also members of the same unit clearly know nothing of any such engagement..
