In his third and final Combat role, Skip Homeier plays a German lieutenant. In his 1944 movie debut, Tomorrow The World, 14 year old Skippy Homeier plays a German boy who comes to live with his American uncle who tries to teach the former Hitler Youth to reject Nazism.
Skip Homier would guest star as a Nazi leader on Star Trek a year later, 1968, in the episode "Patterns of Force".
Plot very similar to the 1964 film, "The Cavern" (1954).
One of several Combat! episodes involving mines, caverns, and cave-ins. Clearly 1940s France was rife with unstable underground spaces.
