Tension is spoiled. Plot uses a stereotype.

Is there any post 90s crime show/story, in which a racist was not the convict?

Sure, racism is bad, but if in the mind of writers racists are automatically killers, they should write different plots or leave a plot like this to an action film where the guessing and with-thinking, about who the convict is, is uninteresting.

Since the 11th minute you know who committed the crime.

It's like when a petty mustache or a bad shaving reveals the convict in a Mickey Mouse crime comic on the first page.
