Scotty says that the film John and Chris shot of Daniela in 1979 was an 8MM film, and indeed, it is a black and white 8MM film. But in the flashback, when John and Chris are filming the snuff reel, they are using a super 8 camera to film it. Super 8 is different than 8MM film and the two are not compatible with one another. User Reviews

Hauntingly powerful and thought provoking.

If you collect television crime drama episodes this one is for you! A must have. One of the most powerfully moving and thought provoking stories and dramas I have yet seen in a cop drama. Haunts even to this day in 2014. It will cause you emotions, thought provoking and re-examination of them as relating to topic of the main character Daniela a trans gender. Very realistic superb acting, setting and mood. It grips your attention from the beginning and doesn't let you go during the emotional roller coaster ride until the very end and leaves you haunted for years to come. Of all the Cold Case episodes ever produced this one is by far the very best. A must have to any collection pertaining the crime dramas.
