Mrs Peacock hosts Richard Forrest during The Christmas period, Forrest being the son of the previous owner of Arlington Grange, a Judge. Forrest surprises the residents of The Grange with presents, six deadly weapons.
I honestly had no idea that this existed, pretty good, and showed the show was rather well liked, it also gives us the first full change of cast, some worked very well, Derek Nimmo and Kate O'Mara, some I'm not so sure about, Toyah Wilcox. The one who steals it, definitely Joan Sims.
One thing I wondered about this show, did they have several different possibilities filmed, just incase someone picked it out straight away? Especially as this was an extended episode, it wouldn't have worked if it had been called within ten minutes.
Two of the finest from The Bill, Tony Scannell and Trudy Goodwin are really good as the guests, I'm glad they've stopped using members of the public, the celebrities would be a little more fun.
