The circus is auditioning a tomahawk throwing act featuring Chief Spotted Horse and Nitika; Corky thinks they are great and that enough for Big Tim. Nitika offers to teach Corky sign language. There may be a problem; Taylor hates all Indians and does what he can to make trouble.

Nitika tries on a dress and Corky offer to buy the dress as a present for her. When Corky gives Nitika the dress he learns a secret; all the Indians speak English. Chief Spotted Horse explains they keep it a secret to listen and find out who is a friend and who isn't. They hope that one day the legend of White Eagle will be true. A great chief will appear to teach all men, including the red and white, to live together in true brotherhood and understanding. The chief gives Corky a boy and arrows but Corky has to promise not to give away their secret.

When Joey tries to shoot an arrow, it goes through a tent and into Pete's hat. A friend of Taylors called Danny offers him a deal to steal circus horses to sell to farmers.

The Chief Invites Corky and all the circus people to a party. When the Chief walks past Taylor, he tries to take a shot at the Chief. Big Tim fires Taylor and tells him to pick up his money and go.

Everyone seems to be having a great time at the party and Nitika shows up in Cork's gift. Pete is guarding the horses but is knocked out by Taylor. He has come back with some of Danny's men and they steal the horses. Taylor tries to make it look like Indians did it.

When a single headband is found, Tim jumps to the conclusion the Chief did it. The sheriff says he can't help but Tim is going after the horses. The Chief offers to help but Tim says no, he doesn't trust the chief.

The chief tells Corky that white men stole the horses. Corky suggests the Chief help whether Tim wants it or not. Tim is on the trail of the horse thieves but runs into a trap. Now he knows who did it, Taylor. Taylor and Danny now take Tim's horses also, but the Chief has sent his braves in to capture the thieves. Tim apologizes. The Chief hopes Corky might be one of White Eagles men sent to teach men how to live together.

Sad, it's 2017 and we seem to still be waiting for White Eagle.
