Great high wire work
3 June 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The circus is pulling them in because of Dozetti who has a great high wire act. Dozetti is good but he believes he is the whole show. During his act, Joey runs underneath him with a basket as if to catch him. Corky tries to make friends with Dozetti because his parents used to a high wire act before they fell and died.

Now the band director is complaining about Dozetti and is demands. Then Dozetti complains about the ponies being too close to his wagon, he can't sleep. Big Tim goes to see Dozetti and try and get him to get along better with the other acts. Dozetti says the other acts are just jealous; and he no longer wants Joey running underneath him.

When Big Tim talks with Joey, Joey says he understands Dozetti; but during the next performance Dozetti falls when he sees Joey beneath him. Lucky that Joey was there as Dozetti fell on him and that broke Dozetti's fall. For now, Dozetti can't perform because he has a broken bone. Corky calls on Dozetti and has some small gifts from other performers.

Joey suggests that Big Tim ask Dozetti's wife Muriel take her husband's place. She had an act before they were married; but she gave it up to boost her husband's career. Muriel agrees and when her husband hears the applause he is taken aback. Muriel is now the star, Dozetti is leaving the circus and Muriel is going with him to Chicago.

Corky asks Dozetti why he is leaving. Whatever Corky said to Dozetti it worked. Now the act is the Death Defying Dozettis, a husband and wife team.
