Eddie Haskell sees the Big Top

At the entrance to a town, the circus is stopped on the way to Titusville. They are being stopped because Matt Flint wants a $300 bribe to order for the circus to be given a permit. Ezra Hillman sees the circus on his land Hillman's Meadows. He gives the circus permission to stay on his land: he loves the circus.

Corky visits Hillman on his farm. He brought Bimbo the baby elephant. Maybe Bimbo can scare the chickens into laying. Tim Champion refuses to pay the bribe so they will move on. Ezra Hillman tries to convince the circus to stay and make a stand against crooked politicians. Ezra even sends Big Tim to see his nephew, John Ashcroft, an attorney in town.

To drum up business, Ezra takes Corky to meet some of the boys in town to get them excited about the circus, and that will get their parents interested. The leader is Skinny and he organizes all his friends because they will get a free ticket for spreading the word. The kids march about town with signs and bang on pots to make noise. Flint is stuck. He can't arrest the kids, that would get too many people upset. But he can grab Ezra Hillman.

Big Tim sees the kids parade; and he and Pete see Flint and his men try to grab Ezra. They jump in and stop him. The next day the townspeople are coming to the circus but Flint has closed the only bridge. It looks like Big Tim will have pay, but now Flint wants $500. Big Tim says just see him after he collects the receipts from the tickets; Flint will get his.

Joey brings Flint and his bodyguard to the lion tent to wait. Big Tim hands over the money but a lion is loose that chases the men into a cage. Flint is counting his money while in the cage. John Ashcroft has the cage brought into the big tent. Big Tim has a record of each bill which will prove Flint is crooked and takes bribes. Flint is behind bars where he belongs. Ezra is a county deputy and has Flint taken off to jail. All in all, it's been a good show for the circus. They are even awarded the key to the city as a token of thanks.

Yes, you might have recognized great character actor Ralph Moody (Ezra) who appeared in over a 150 movies and TV shows. Roy Barcroft (Flint) should also ring a bell as he was in 380 movies and TV shows. Buy your EYES WILL GROW LARGE when you spot a small kid in the episode, the leader of the town's kids, Skinny who is none other than Ken Osmond, yes that really is EDDIE HASKELL.
