There have been over two-hundred episodes of the classic kids sitcom 'Chucklevision' Without doubt, this is my favourite one.
The brothers are camping. After seeing a bull, the two run. They find a spot to put up there tent. A violent storm erupts. There tent flies away. They go to a hotel for the night. A sign says a Murder Mystery Weekend is taking place. The brothers don't see this sign. When asked for there names, Paul uses the names of their magazines- 'Ideal Homes' is what Paul is reading and Barry is reading 'What's On' So it is Holmes and Watson. The Butler introduces them as the Police when he takes them into the lounge. They meet Major Look and Lady Shave. The lights go out and when they come back on again, Lady Shave's valuable necklace has gone from her. At dinner, Major Look dies when he eats the soup. When the Brothers make it back to there room, they find Lady Shave dead in the room. They go to have a word with the Chef and find him dead in the kitchen. Then the Maid dies. Then last up to go is a female guest who had written on her mirror 'You're Next' in her lipstick. This means The Butler is the only one left. It's him. Then they all come out and explain the whole thing about the Murder Mystery Weekend. It is extremely obvious to the Viewer that Major Look and the Chef who died were the same person. It is quite clear to the viewer that Lady Shave, the Maid and the guest who all get murdered are the same people, but not clear enough for the Chuckle Brothers. They leave the hotel and find there tent up a tree. Paul pulls it down and gets soaked with water.
So The Butler did it, what a surprise. A brilliant episode this, definitely my favourite one. The man who played the Butler, Ramsey Gilderdale also wrote this episode. He appeared/starred in many other episodes of 'Chucklevision' He's also wrote episodes of the classic ITV sitcom 'Barbara' Arthur Cox played Major Look, he also appeared in the episode 'Monkey Business' as Sir Arthur Tavistock-Smythe. He played Jim's driver in 'Yes Minister' and has also appeared in 'Terry and June' and 'The New Statesman' Karen Ford played Lady Shave, she'll be most famous for playing Ms Booth in over one hundred episodes of 'Grange Hill' Best Bit: In the room where the guest has had a threat to her life, the Guest, the Butler, Paul and Barry are in the room: PAUL: We need a house meeting, BUTLER: Shall we say five minutes, PAUL: If you like, GUEST/BUTLER/PAUL/BARRY: Five minutes.
