"Take Me, I'm Yours" finds Ed understandably reluctant to adopt Raul, until social worker Amanda Wilkerson (Barbara Sharma) reports how much he can receive from the government to care for him as a foster father. His annoying answers to her questions continue for the duration of the episode, but they're preferable to the wild tales spouted by the little urchin. Either Ed has to go through with it or risk jail time for harboring an illegal alien. Eventually he agrees to complete the application, but the entire exercise remains pointless. The series continues its downward spiral despite a game Jack Albertson, a thorough professional carrying on in the face of adversity.
