Cheyenne is deputized by Pinkerton to escort an old friend, now a convict, to where he stashed $30K. Wes is shot and dies on the way but tells Cheyenne that his then six year old son will know where the money is hidden without realizing it. Cheyenne has to trust that Wes is right by joining a gang about to hold up a bank. He poses as Wes so he can guide the boy onto the straight and narrow and find the money hidden this past 10 years in the Valley of the Moon. Written by
