Cheyenne is the marshal running the prison wagon for the Huntsville prison in Texas. He stops in Travis County for a pickup in the middle of a trial. The local banker's son Jud Ainley is being tried for murder with Deputy Gary Thomas as the prime witness who saw him commit the crime. At Jud Ainsley's murder trial, evidence turns up that discredits Thomas' testimony, and in fact Thomas is arrested and charged with robbery as Ainley is released. However, after a mysterious gang attacks Cheyenne's prison wagon taking Thomas to prison, Cheyenne begins to suspect that Thomas was, as he claimed, framed. Thomas identifies two of the attackers killed as friends of Ainley. Thomas takes advantage of the situation to escape. Cheyenne sends his Deputy on with the prisoners and returns to track down Thomas before he gets revenge that night. Back in town as Cheyenne begins to uncover evidence clearing Thomas, the witnesses start dying as Ainley and his men roam the streets looking for Thomas. Written by frankfob2@yahoo.com
