Storyline

Cheyenne stopped by to visit his friend Sam and ended up helping him rebuild his barn after a fire burned it down. Sam's son Harper was burned when he ran back into the burning barn to rescue his Brahma bull calf but it was killed. The doctor feels a new calf might help the boy recover so Cheyenne agrees to see if he can buy one from a rancher named Dunbarton who hates to part with his livestock. Sam gives Cheyenne $450 dollars he borrowed while they are in the saloon. The Hawker brothers who are wanted see the transaction and decide Cheyenne would be easy pickings. While camped he is jumped by the Hawkers but John Butler arrives on the scene to help and kills one of the brothers. He offers to take the body to the sheriff while Cheyenne goes to the Dunbarton ranch. He encounters Lucy Dunbarton bathing and is run off the ranch by her father. In town he finds Butler has said Cheyenne killed the Hawker brother setting him up as a target while Lucy offers to quietly sell him a bull. Written by Anonymous
