This appears to be the earliest episode in which the final credits take their definitive form - artwork customized for that episode, plus the lyrics to the "Cheyenne" title music. (The theme that would later be used for "Bronco" is dropped.) The music is by William Lava, a Warners staff composer, while the lyrics were written by Stan Jones (who penned the immortal "Ghost Riders"). It's one of the great TV theme songs, perfectly capturing the series' intent.
The Bicycle playing cards date this as 1885 or later.
Cheyenne is seen in a bathtub. His two friends are also shown in bathtubs. It is a hoot for comic relief.
The stock footage inadvertently includes a scene where the riverboat runs aground violently, which does not actually happen during the episode.
