Storyline

Kelly has returned from France, and with her is Henrí, a Lothario of a Frenchman who is out to steal Kelly away from Woody. Everyone is aware of Henrí's intentions, everyone that is except for Kelly. Kelly, in her naiveté, thinks that Henrí's overt attempts to steal her away from Woody are all in jest. Woody finally threatens Henrí, which Kelly thinks rude, impolite and immature on Woody's part. Sam thinks that Henrí might actually be able to steal Kelly away since Woody and Kelly have yet to consummate their relationship. As such, Woody decides to consummate their relationship, taking Kelly to a seedy motel as "Mr. and Mrs. Malone". A third party with an ulterior motive may make them change their mind about what they are about to do. Meanwhile, Cliff plans on having his brain cryogenically frozen just before he dies. With Frasier's help, Cliff brings in a demonstration of the process. Written by Huggo

Goofs

When Woody is talking about how he and Kelly haven't slept together, he says he figured they'd wait until after they're married, because that's the way everyone in Hanover does it, implying that he hasn't slept with a woman before. but in Cheers: Woody Goes Belly Up the whole storyline revolved around how he and Beth, his girlfriend from Hanover who is flown out for a visit, were overeating as a substitute for the sex they weren't having, and by the end, they realized they both wanted to, and finally did, sleep together. Quotes

Sam Malone: Listen, Kelly is Woody's girlfriend. I'm sure you could have any woman you want.
Henrí: I know, but Kelly is so innocent and naive. I love to change that.
Sam Malone: Boy, I'm kind of torn here. I mean, Woody is my closest friend, but that's a real solid argument.

Woody Interruptus (#9.12)
20 June 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Kelly is back from Paris but with her comes Henri. And he wants to steal her from Woody. Kelly is sure it is a joke but nobody else sees it this way and the guys suggest Woody to finally sleep with Kelly. They get to a motel but are very nervous only then Carla comes to talk them out of the idea.

It was pretty funny. "He is supposed to be rude, he is French!" I knew right away when Carla came that she has something else in her mind, it doesn't seem like Carla to be against sex before marriage. But the story worked out somehow weirdly. Henri didn't even look like he realized why he was there.

Cliff's frozen head story brought more laughter. Loved how they all ran from the case.
