Storyline

After Frasier suggests that she change her hair style, Lilith does get a new hairdo. Can it get any worse than her tight as a wound bun? Meanwhile, it's Norm's birthday and among his gifts is a Boston Celtics jacket personally delivered by Kevin McHale. Before Kevin leaves the bar, he gets caught up in the typical trivia talk of Norm and Cliff, namely how many bolts there are in the Boston Garden basketball court. Carla warns Kevin of the obsessive power of bar trivia, but she's too late. Kevin is obsessed with knowing the number of bolts, which no one can tell him conclusively. He's up in the middle of the night wondering, but what's worse, his basketball skills plummet as he's busy counting the bolts rather than paying attention to the game. Sam, Norm, Cliff and Woody decide to go to the Garden to count the bolts so that Kevin can get back on track. Will they be able to find out conclusively the number of bolts to save the Celtics? Or will they make the situation even worse by their... Written by Huggo

A panoramic photo of this game is sold as a poster. If you look closely at the crowd near the court, all five male cast members can be identified. John Ratzenberger is in the first row immediately behind the left basket. Woody Harrelson is in the corner seat of the right side baseline. 'George Wendt' is near the right side basket, Kelsey Grammer is in the left near corner in profile. See more »

Quotes

Woody Boyd: Dr. Crane. Can you help me with something?
Dr. Frasier Crane: Of course, Woody.
Woody Boyd: You know, yesterday was mine and Kelly's third anniversary of going steady, and I gave her a dinky keychain, so she goes and gives me this three hundred dollar camera. So my problem is...
Dr. Frasier Crane: Say no more about it, Woody. If I were you, I wouldn't let Kelly's fine present cause you any guilt. After all, she comes from a very priviledged background, while you're an unsophisticated working man with nary two dimes to rub together. You know, ...

Where Have All the Floorboards Gone? (#10.8)
25 June 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

It is Norm's birthday and as one of the presents Sam gets Kevin McHale personally give him a team jacket. But before he leaves Kevin gets into the trivia question of how many bolts are in the floor of Boston Garden basketball court. Now he is so into it he can't even play. So the guys try to count the bolts to calm him down.

Well the main story is not one of my favorites but it had some good moments. Mainly the ending when they walk around counting those bolts. Don't even know why they had to confess to Kevin they lied about the amount before! Lilith with her new hair was especially funny though. Now I think she still looked beautiful, but Frasier's reactions were too funny!
