Rebecca is on a healthy eating kick and is trying to convince others in the bar to join her. The guys do join her in enjoying rice cakes, which they use for other purposes. Meanwhile, Lilith is in mourning as her favorite lab rat, Whitey, has died. Frasier offers sympathy, that is until he finds out that she is carrying the dead rat in her purse. Frasier throws Whitey in the garbage, and when Lilith finds out, she does the same to Frasier - throw him in the garbage, that is. Lilith has banished Frasier from the house, and thus he's forced to sleep on the bar's couch in his suit. Unfortunately, this tiff coincides with an important meeting they have to get Frederick into an exclusive preschool. They need to hold off their anger toward each other long enough to make it through the interview, but some item association at the interview makes them come to an important realization. Rat Girl (#9.24)
24 June 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Lilith's favorite lab rat Whitey dies and she is very upset. Frasier tries to make her feel better and they go to a restaurant after Cheers, only he sees the dead rat in her purse and throws it out. She gets very upset and the two don't talk except for at the interview for Frederick's private school admission that due to their fighting doesn't seem to have gone too good.

Great story. Nice to see Lilith grieving for Whitey, I would too, rats are wonderful living beings and it is obvious one can feel for them! Frasier sure went a bit overhead so soon. But it was so funny. Frasier is a hilarious character and in this episode he showed it to us many times. The fight of the two during the private school interview was just too funny. I want more of them!
