Storyline

85-year old WWI war veteran Buzz Crowder returns to Cheers to meet with surviving members of his squad from the 22nd Brigade. They meet every 10 years at Cheers to reminisce about old times. As the evening progresses, a lonely Buzz realizes that the number of survivors is dwindling. Another new patron to the bar, Kevin, who is a virgin to the world of booze and debauchery, embarks on his first, and last, wild night before entering the monastery. Meanwhile, Diane keeps a collection of memorable quotes that she hears in the bar - "snippets of Americana" as she calls them. Sam becomes irked as one by one, all the regulars, without even trying, make it into Diane's quote book except him, who has been spitting out quotes all night with great effort. Written by Huggo

It is a special night with some special guests in the bar. First, there is an old guy who came for his WW1 reunion, only as it turns out this time he is the only one left. And the other guy is entering monastery the next day, but the drinks he has make him believe that he wants to be a regular guy.

A good episode with a lot of sweet and fun moments, and both categories are very well balanced. While one feels a lot for the old soldier one just can't stop laughing when Norm tries to make him feel better by saying that "maybe they never really liked you". And the story of the future monk is very special and funny as well including the time with the "piano miracle".
