Storyline

Coach is attracted to a Nina, a young woman who has just moved into his building. Excited, he tells Diane of Nina, swearing her to secrecy if only because of his and Nina's age difference. Nina shows up at the bar to wait for the heat to be turned on in her apartment. Diane has asked Sam not to hit on Nina, although she doesn't tell him the reason. This request only intrigues Sam more, and he tries repeatedly to get Nina to go out with him. Meanwhile, Diane urges Coach to pursue Nina, thinking that Nina is indeed interested in Coach. Coach ends up using an old and painful trick from his baseball days to try and get the girl. Elsewhere in the bar, the pipes have backed up in the men's room, forcing the patrons to use the facilities up at Melville's. Written by Huggo

Coach Returns to Action (#1.9)
2 April 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

There is a new young lady that moved to Coache's building. He brings her to the bar and is attracted to her, but even though Diane tells him to make a move he has trouble to. Especially when she keeps on rejecting Sam who is usually great with ladies. Well, at the end Coach still manages to do it with his old secret trick.

A bit more boring of an episode than usual. Weird, I like Coach as character a lot, but it is the episodes with him as main character that I liked the least so far. Hope this will change.

Still the ending of the episode was just great with him getting the girl by rolling down the stairs.
