Storyline
Rebecca is planning a bachelor auction at the bar to raise money for Children's Hospital. Despite Rebecca's nonchalance toward his participation, Sam ends up being one of the bachelors, as is Woody (who she actually asked). Both Sam and Woody end up regretting it because of who purchases them. Meanwhile, Lilith and Frasier are in pre-wedding mode. Frasier suggests something that is totally off the radar for Lilith, namely a pre-nuptial agreement. Lilith is shocked and hurt by Frasier's request. This act by Frasier could jeopardize the wedding, as is a resulting $2,000 act by Lilith unless Sam can come up with a plan to get the two back together again. Written by

Mr. Clavin, that is a really sweet gesture, but isn't there some regulation against government employees in uniform participating ...

This is easily one of my top five favourite episodes. Like most episodes that centre around Frasier and Lilith, there wasn't a very strong "back at the bar" storyline, but otherwise this episode was fantastic. It was funny, it was sexy, and in the end it just showed how much love Frasier and Lilith had for each other (too bad they ended up divorcing anyway.) Another reviewer said that Lilith acted out of character, but actually, this episode showed her character perfectly. The idea is that, on the surface, Lilith appears rigid and demure, but underneath she's actually quite fiery and amorous. This fact is touched upon several times throughout this series, as well as on its spin-off Frasier.
