Still scratching my head

Warning: Spoilers
Some strange things have been happening to Margaret O'Brien, a new widow with an infant. Her husband was a marine who was killed in Japan during a training exercise in a plane crash. First she catches someone trying to break into her apartment. Secondly a nice chunk of masonry nearly clocks her in the head as it falls from a building scheduled for demolition.

For reasons known only to God and the writers of this Checkmate episode her late husband married O'Brien under an alias. I'm still scratching my head over that one. But because of that she can't get proof of her husband's existence even.

In any event the man doing these things to her isn't too bright either. But as Anthony George says crooks aren't the best and brightest at times, but just because they're stupid doesn't mean they're not dangerous.

Not one of the better episodes.
