Trivia

In Charmed: Astral Monkey (2000) the sisters take care of three monkeys that have their powers because they were injected with their blood. Near the end of the episode Phoebe asks the monkeys what they think about evil and they do the "See no Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil". The monkey with the green band around its arm, which has been injected with Prue's blood closes its eyes, Piper's monkey with the yellow band closes its ears and Phoebe's monkey with the pink band closes its mouth. Strangely in this episode those are exactly the senses they lost. The eldest (Piper) lost her sight, the middle (Phoebe) her hearing and the youngest (Paige) her voice. See more »

The funniest episode of the series!
6 September 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Sense and Sense Ability is one of the best episodes of the entire show and the funniest. It is SO great that it being in the middle of all of the lackluster episodes surrounding it in Season 5 comes off as a big surprise. I do not want to spoil anything for those who have not seen it, but the three leads give great performances, especially Alyssa Milano, who has risen from her dark moments in Season 4 and in the beginning of Season 5 with Cole. She proves that she is great at comedy (so the writers should leave the drama for Holly Marie Combs). Anyways, the only bad thing to come out of this episode is that The Crone never appears again, which is a pity since she was so great and underused.
