Paige uses the power to heal on Cole after only being aware of her powers as a witch and whitelighter for one day. She seemingly forgets how easily she could access this power, because she doesn't use it again for many episodes. In the season 6 premiere Valhalley of the Dolls, she even admits out loud that she can't heal, explaining that it is difficult because she is only half whitelighter. See more »

Leo: Are you sure she orbed? Are you sure that wasn't something else?
Phoebe: Leo, she disappeared. Bright, white, shiny... thingies came and she reappeared.
Phoebe: What else could it be?
Leo: It just doesn't make any sense.
Cole: Why not?
Leo: Why would Shax want to kill a whitelighter?
Cole: Maybe he doesn't know she's a whitelighter.
Leo: Right... The Source sends out his personal assassin but doesn't know who he's after.

A new team is formed

I loved Prue, so I was very disappointed when she left -and through the small door at that-, but the new season begins in a great way. As often, there are two different plots. The main one, in which Paige must choose which side she will fight for, is rather predictable, although it has good moments. The other one deals with the new inspector's hostility towards Piper and Phoebe. At first, it sounds awfully overdone(at this stage, we've seen the "meddlesome cop" storyline about 3 or 4 times), but its treatment allows for some really good scenes, and I like its silent but meaningful conclusion.

Now, interestingly enough, the best part of the first two episodes is not about the sisters, it's about their men. Cole and Leo working together is hilarious. For a demon and an angel, they seem to get along just fine, even though their ways of dealing with problems are... rather incompatible.
