Unidentified Angels Phenomena
adamcshelby28 June 2021
This was a fun episode. Jacklyn Smith's soon to be ex-husband (Dennis Cole) makes his second appearance on the show, this time as an ex-pilot/astronaut who's hit hard times, so he involves himself with a conman who sells fake UFO sightings to a private club whose members pay good money to witness it.

Problem is a female member is murdered when she questions the legitimacy of the UFO 'performance'. Gotta keep the money rolling in.

The Angels are on the case. Bosley and Kris go under cover as a rich couple wanting to join the club, Sabrina poses as a bungling detective who's quickly discovered by the con group, then she's inexplicably allowed to stick around. Kelly poses as an actual alien (replete with a tight silver alien costume right out of Lost in Space). There were also some fun action sequences with a crop duster-style airplane where Cole's character threatens to dump Kelly at 10,000 feet. He doesn't (how could he? He was going to marry her in real life). This was surprisingly entertaining and a nice diversion from their typical plots.

What a trip!

Warning: Spoilers
An organization will reveal to you the secrets of the universe and will show you dazzling UFOs in the sky -- for a modest introductory fee of $7500. When a member voices suspicions and promptly disappears, our earthbound Angels come investigate. Kris hilariously plays a ditzy believer, prodding sugar daddy Bosley to open his wallet. Uncharacteristically not-smart Sabrina must ad lib after getting her cover blown. And Kelly plays an alien. You read that right! She also makes the moves on a former astronaut (played by her real-life husband) who was hired by the goons to give credence to their game. Will the Angels get to the bottom of this? I think you know, but it's a lot of fun along the way.
