"Mister...you have an awful lot of money in there. Did you know that?"

A lighthearted caper for our Angels, here tripping up a veteran thief and compulsive gambler who managed to steal $40,000 from a securities company and slip passed jail after a police chief loses his cool and roughs him up (not too badly, though, especially compared to today's viral videos). Bosley gets a plum assignment as a bookie who hangs out at a cocktail lounge; he and Sabrina swindle the thief for $20K with a horse-betting scheme. Later, Jill poses as a bored gambler with burglary on her mind, setting the crook up for a casino heist that goes sour once Kelly 'accidentally' crashes into his car. Everyone gets a nice slice of the pie here, particularly Farrah Fawcett-Majors (sporting the fluffiest head of hair of the 1970s), very funny while impersonating a Texas horse-lover--with Bosley as her sugar daddy! Wonderful supporting performances from Richard Romanus, Bert Remsen, and Tony Giorgio make this episode of the ABC detective series one of the best of its sterling first season.
