John Bosley: So now it's your guess that it's the Salem Hotel that was the key to all this whole charade?
Tiffany Welles: Yeah, but I had to be hit on the head with a ton of bricks before I realized it.

Kelly And Kris Reunite & The Final Episode Of Shelley Hack
26 August 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

What Kelly does not know is that Oliver was poisoned by his nephew, Glenn Staley. Deep in debt, Staley promised to deliver Barrows' San Diego hotel to a developer with syndicate ties. Hoping the murder of Oliver would solve the problem, Glenn is now faced with the necessity of killing the new heiress in this concluding part of the episode,One Love... Two Angels: Part 2.

Kelly's car crashes into a building and catches on fire, but bystanders are able to save her. She suffers relatively minor injuries. Meanwhile, Bill and Kris continue to fall for each other. Bill races back to San Diego after receiving word of Kelly's accident, and professes his love from beside her hospital bed. After Kelly is released from the hospital, Glenn pressures her to sign some documents. Bill convinces her to do it, declaring that she needs to accept the fact that she is Margaret Barrows. When everyone meets up at the Barrows mansion, Kris is shocked to see Bill and Kelly kissing. She immediately confesses the truth, and Kelly thanks her for her honesty. Bill plays them against each other by insisting that he loves them both and can't choose between them. Kris chases after Kelly to apologize and assure her that she didn't know about her relationship with Bill. When Kelly asks how they should handle the situation, Kris says that she isn't going to stop seeing Bill and does Kelly.Kris and Kelly clash over their love triangle, and both are devastated when the lawyer dies. Finally, Tiffany and Bosley solve the case, learning Kelly's new cousin arranged the deaths so he could profit from a land deal to sell the hotel.

First, let's discuss the conclusion. While we get to know more about Kelly as an orphan, too bad that her being an heiress happens to be phony so that she gets to remain a detective and stay with Townsend Agency in the next season.Anyway,at least she get to remain as an Angel in the next and final season of the show. Also, the writers made it convenient for the resolution of the love triangle between Kris and Kelly so that they would stay in the Charlie Townsend Detective Agency. At least, the fans aren't disappointed that there won't be any tension between them should the show continue next season.

Finally,it was sad that Shelley Hack was canned from the show after the end of the season after being blamed for the show's decline in ratings. Many fans of her character - Tiffany Wells - were saddened by the producers' decision.Obviously, many would love her considering that she was the most intelligent and arguably the most competitive among the group of female detectives.Although I may see that Hack isn't as charismatic as the likes of former Angel Farrah Fawcett; and co-stars particularly Cherly Ladd and Jaclyn Smith nor does she possess the acting ability of former Angel,Kate Jackson,it was too bad that they was used as a scapegoat for the low ratings. It would have been better if they had better written episodes instead of rehashing many successful plots in the past. That I feel contributed to the low ratings aside from the fact that the show was approaching the 80's and TV shows were evolving. It would have been better to have showcased more of the Angels' competence in doing police work rather than pleasing the fans aesthetically by showing Angels more of their bikinis. This proved fatal in the 5th and final season when 5 of the first 6 episodes were shown in Hawaii and the Angels - Jaclyn Smith,Cheryl Ladd and Tanya Roberts - were in their bikinis most of the time.Americans knew that beautiful women are better than that and they can be also as competent in doing police work just like men.Everyone knew that jiggle TV has almost reached its end.
