Quotes

Tiffany Welles: Kelly?
Kelly Garrett: What's the matter?
Tiffany Welles: Coffee.
Kelly Garrett: What, what about it?
Tiffany Welles: Mr. Felber didn't offer us any coffee.
Kelly Garrett: So, maybe he wasn't feeling very hospitable?
Tiffany Welles: Yeah, but he acted hospitable, he answered all our questions and he kept smiling at us. Now if a man keeps smiling at you, and he's drinking coffee but he doesn't offer you any, it makes me feel like he's... uneasy, you know what I mean?
Kelly Garrett: I'll think about it.

The Great Addition Of Harrigan
26 August 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Kelly,Kris and Tiffany are hired to solve an electronics theft, with their client insisting on them having a partner: Harry Harrigan, who happens to be a bumbling, disheveled private investigator covering the case,in Harrigan's Angel.

A group of thieves pulls off an elaborate robbery at an electronics plant. While the security guard is distracted by a phone call from his boss, they drop a giant photographic copy of the building over the outside of their truck so that he won't be able to detect anything on his monitors. George Starrett, the head of the company, hires Charlie's private investigators at the behest of his insurance carrier. They have threatened to cancel his coverage unless he brings in someone to assist the investigator already on the case. Kelly,Kris and Tiffany are bemused to learn that they must work with Harrigan, a hard-drinking, absent- minded bumbler. Kris volunteers to pair up with Harrigan because he reminds her of her alcoholic father. She struggles constantly to stop Harrigan from drinking and keep his focus on the case. While going through his notes, she discovers that a photo engraving truck made an unusual visit to Starrett Electronics. They visit North Valley Photo Engraving, where employee Belkin proves to be extremely tight-lipped about his store's services. Kelly and Tiffany talk with Felber, a man at the company whose stolen truck was used in the robbery. Although he seems cooperative, Tiffany becomes suspicious because he didn't offer them any coffee.

This has good plot with respect to the technical aspect. Also, the viewer gets treated to a few humorous moments and a couple poignant scenes. The inclusion of Harrigan, who was working with the Angels particularly Kris, was a welcome delight to the loyal fans and viewers. Howard Duff and Cheryl Ladd had a very enjoyable chemistry. No question that this deserves the highest rating because of it.
