The Dumbest People In the Bronx?
22 November 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Yes, a lot of these old Nat Hiken comedies were absurd - some say stupid - but they are bound to make you laugh sooner or later. In the end, it's almost always hilarious when all the nonsense gets put together for the grand finale. This episode is a good example.

For much of it, it is ridiculous....unless, of course, there are people as gullible and dumb as "Slyvia Schnauser" and "Gunther Toody." Hey, maybe there are! Whatever, these two get conned by a fake fortune-teller into believing they are Russian royalty.

For me, the silliness turned genuinely funny a few places in the second half and particularly when seeing two cops - Leo and Toody - doing the Russian dance in the locker room.
