Not all of this made sense...but it IS entertaining.

Something very peculiar has happened. Cannon's been invited to the reading of a will...and he never knew the deceased!! The lawyer explains this is because the will has a very strange clause...that a private investigator investigate his death to make 100% certain that the beneficiaries were not responsible for his death! Cannon accepts the case and his fee is to be $25,000!

The most interesting thing about this case is that the show strongly implies that one of the characters is gay...something VERY unusual for the 1970s. Apart from that, the story is pretty standard though confusing. And, why would the killer admit to the killings when there really isn't any solid proof? Too much didn't make sense but the episode is nonetheless entertaining. Not a great episode...but worth your time.
