Improbable but exciting.

This is the second episode in the row of "Cannon" that involves a serial killer. However, this one is VERY unusual because the killer has decided to contact Cannon with a VERY weird proposition--he claims that he wants Cannon to catch him! He even goes so far as to send Cannon a retainer! The killer in this one was played by Anthony Zerbe--a TV actor who made it a habit of playing slimy and often imbalanced guys. Throughout the show, he's slimy and exciting--and this sort of role suits him better than most. Because of this and because you are never sure of his agenda, this makes for a very exciting episode. Ridiculously improbable...but exciting--particularly when he decides that his next victim should be the consulting psychiatrist (Dana Wynter) who is working with Cannon.
