Solid crime story

You won't believe me, but this seem to be the last episode of the series and that's the first I see. Well, that doesn't matter anyway. Don't expect any action sequences here, nothing that makes you think too close to THE UNTOUCHABLES. Unless a gangland story. It begins with a head chief of police who has lost his wife and daughter and who wants at all costs to denounce a corrupt police force of the city by the gang boss played by Anthony Caruso. Who is helped by a rotten journalist played by a very good Alex Nicol. The true hero of the show will do his best to force his friend Nicol to collaborate to make Caruso's empire collapse. But, strangely, it seems to be no ending here. At least it's an open ending. Very weird for a last episode of a series.
