One more solid crime drama

This episode of CAIN'S HUNDRED seems different from the others because here you have some action sequences, which you did not in the other episodes, at least those I watched. This story is closer to the UNTOUCHABLES show and even more close to TARGET THE CORRUPTORS one. Ed Begley plays here a big crime operator whose activities are legal for most of them to cover the truly illegal ones. Good directing, amazing crime and noir atmosphere with a surprising good Patricia Medina's character, better than what she gave us in her other movies for the big screen. I don't even remember her in crime films. But that doesn't mean she was not there. I also appreciated the Ed Begley character, and some scenes are touching, such as this one where he plays backgammon with the old governor, whilst they speak of fishing in blue water. A good episode which is different form the other of the show.
