A man is devoured by a tiger at the zoo. It turns out he was killed beforehand, bandaged up and dropped into the caged area. Mac, Danny and new recruit "Lindsay Monroe" (Anna Beknap) are on the case to find out who the man was, how he was killed and then, of course, by whom.
The second, lesser case is one involving a young débutante-type girl who is discovered dead on a Merry-Go-Round. Stella, Sheldon and Don are on that case, one that involves some catty, jealous women and mothers.
This episode had a couple of interesting scenes, such as using a dead pig - closest thing to a human - to stab with different weapons to determine what killed the man, and extracting poison out of a tarantula-like spider.
A good show, but not exceptional.
