Not very good
8 November 2006 | by See all my reviews

This has got to be one of the most gruesome and sad television episodes ever! It starts with the poignant image of a toddler toddling around a neighbourhood, with blood all over her suit. The police are called and run tests on all her blood (there turns out to be blood from several people on it) but still have no idea where she's from.

Eventually, they manage to find the house, and it's a total mess. Everything is dirty and messy, and the whole family - two other sons, a baby and their mother - is dead, except for the father, who is dying. They have all been shot.

It becomes clear that a member of the family must have committed the crime but nobody seems to have self-inflicted wounds, let alone motives.

I found this very miserable and quite boring. The motive, once-revealed, was not believable at all. It wasn't very interesting and didn't take much forensic work either. Disappointing episode.
