Storyline

Two people died in a party from a drive-by shooting, yet none of the guests heard gun shots. The team believes that a silencer was used. One of the victims was a member of the Mala Noche gang who was just recently promoted, as shown by his new tattoo. The other was an employee of a pharmaceutical company which is on the verge of launching a new drug. Written by Ploy P.

Trivia

In the blog Delko and Ryan are called "The Hardy Boys". "The Hardy Boys" is a popular series of detective/adventure books for boys, which were also made into a TV-series The Hardy Boys (1969). See more »

Goofs

The drug found on the woman who was murdered at the beginning of the episode is, after analysis, found to be a derivative or analogue of atorvastatin calcium, which is described as a painkiller. It is in fact used to lower cholesterol and a known side effect is possible headache or abdominal pain. It is unlikely that the derivative, called "Zorax" would have such markedly different effects. (Possibly a deliberate mistake by the makers of CSI: Miami) See more »

Quotes

Eric Delko: I was a little freaked out about my boss seeing my sister. But, um... seeing how happy she is, I can't argue with it.
Lieutenant Horatio Caine: No concerns?
Eric Delko: No. None for her. But you need to know that she's a lot sicker than she looks. Doctors think, um... months. Can you live with that?
Lieutenant Horatio Caine: I can.

My general opinion of CSI:Miami
7 November 2006 | by (Concord, NH, United States) – See all my reviews

I was recently introduced to CSI:Miami about a month ago. (I know, you're thinking "what kind of cardboard box has SHE been living in?) This is BY FAR, in my personal opinion, the BEST CSI EVER. They're so much more liberated than the original cast of VEGAS. Don't get me wrong, I still adore Gil Grissom and his team, however, Horatio DOES strike as being more human. You don't see Gil Grissom getting emotionally involved NEARLY as much as Horatio Caine, if at all. (Ya, I'm a chick. I know. But, I like the knock-down, drag-out, down-and-dirty cop stuff as much as any guy does. I just like the balance that Miami has to offer.)Thanks for taking the time to read this. Peace. ;)
