Storyline
The detectives found the worse possible thing in their crime scene: another body. Although the two woman appear totally dissimilar at first glance, they are actually sisters. One is very out-going while the other is a recluse, working from her house and buying everything from catalogs. The primary crime scene is at their house which bears signs of violence, but with none of a force entry Written by

Goofs
When Grissom first speaks to Dr. Al Robbins, the clock in the background clearly says 6:00, whilst in the next scene, the team judges that the victim died approximately 10 hours ago, which they say would be 2:00pm. This indicates either a jump of 8 hours, or the first scene being 4 hours after the next.

"A girl in a culvert pipe. At a highway construction site. In the middle of an alfalfa field."
That's not the only victim at the crime scene, her sister's body was also discovered, neck snapped, not far near another culvert pipe. The first victim had a nasty laceration to the forehead which killed her. The two women shared a home which was actually the primary crime scene, a door window shattered into pieces on the sidewalk with blood on several of the shards. It seems one of the sisters was a bit older, didn't associate with the outside world, kind of a homebody who communicated through the internet to someone. An agoraphobic who kept Chinese takeout past its due date and collected catalogs..Sara, as she continues on the case, sees parallels to her own life and is inspired to change things a bit. Meanwhile, Nick and Catherine are working on the case of a laid off real estate man who took a shot through the gut which went all the way through. The problem with it being a "hunting accident" is that his time of death was 2:00 pm in the afternoon when the deer aren't as active. Not to mention, the crime scene yields little clues of his death being a usual murder-for-hire or spousal kill. This story has such a devastating conclusion as the widow must endure a terrible truth. Many will remember Amanda Wyss as the butchered victim in the bedroom of Freddy Krueger in NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET in the brief role of the agoraphobic who suffered a nasty fate.
